Wooo finished!

IMO....took too long.

Anyway, Dave wanted me to come up with a design for Sailor Moon's sword...so I was supposed to draw her with it.
And I was sitting in class the other day, thinking about Dave when I started doodling this picture of her, and then I took that as a good indication that maybe I should get the design done.
So yeah, the sword is from 's fanfic, and this picture is dedicated to him.

I wanted this piece to give off a feeling of longing/homesickness. It really has nothing to do with the story. Usagi went to the moon alone to retrieve the sword or something...whatever, and now she's looking out into the distance at her home planet. It looks so peaceful and beautiful, and yet at the same time sad. She realizes she has to go back there and do battle, and she longs to be back on earth protecting her home.
That's my explaination.

Overall I'm pleased with it. Usagi was the only thing hand drawn in this one. The rest was done digitally, drawn with a mouse. Which made it a bit annoying. But I wanted to do it, so I guess I can't complain.
Oh and before anyone complains about it being blurry, it's supposed to be that way. Kinda dreamy.
