Well I started this drawing wanting to do something for my father. And then I thought it would be fun to incorporate something my dad loves (guitars) with something my mom loves (angels).
And then I listened to too much Def Leppard. And then this drawing turned out a bit sluttier than I had intended. =_= But I still liked it, so I decided to go from random angel chick and just turn it into Kali. WALLPAPER VERSION: 1024 x 768: [link] 1440 x 900: [link] Comments

 O_O-- The redhead heavy metal half-emo everybody hates lol no I just realized that and fixed it. When I exported it into Photoshop I accidentally turned off the layer with the strings.

I love everything especially the wings and the long luxurious hair! and the texture on the hair too looks great. D: although where are her wings coming from? her hair is between her body and her wings so they don't look connected. Love the bg and the guitar! guitars are hard D: you did great!

Also. I'm quite fond of the background you made up for this, too. Simple, yet perfect for tying it all together.
I saw your tutorial that you used for this, too. Makes me wish I had Manga Studio 4. ;_; Alas, I am poor. Oh well. :/
Very pretty, definitely one of my favorites of yours. Did you actually give it to your dad? XD Mine would like, turn beet red and pretend not to understand the boobage... or something...

I love her pose, as well as the detail in this one. I especially admite you for being able to draw a guitar that well. The bg is simple - but works really well with the overall concept. She looks very sexy, and the strategically placed bandages work really well.
The coloring on this one is also awesome - as your coloring usually is. You really mastered cel shading well.
The only things that look a bit off are her knees - perhaps you have accentuated them a tad too much. Maybe if you had used darker shading to accentuate the knees instead of lines, it would have looked more subtle. Her toes also could use a little work (who am I to nag about that? lol), but otherwise...
A wonderful piece!
You should do such detailed works more often!
