SS: Moonlight Princess

For who's Christmas wish was a picture of Princess Serenity in any form dancing in the moonlight.

She asked for Serenity in any form (anime or manga) with a bit of uniqueness thrown in.

She's supposed to be dancing, but I think that by adding the staff in her far hand I ended up making her look a bit stiffer then I had intended.

Usually when I draw Serenity, it's in anime form, even though I think the manga design is so much prettier. I just always figured my style was more tuned to the anime version, and I like to be as true to the original character as possible.
So this time I drew her in sort of an anime/manga hybrid form, taking elements from Naoko's earlier concept sketches, as well as making slight alterations.

I had lots of fun with this piece, and it's for a very sweet artist, whom I admire.
