KALI'S SECRET SANTA '09 : Not Over Technical Prob

It has been brought to my attention that many of you are having problems uploading to DA. Apparently there's some sort of glitch going on.

For that and some other various reasons, I still have 16 people who have not received a gift yet.

If you're one of those 16 waiting to receive, no you are not alone obviously. We have not forgotten about you!

And if you're one of the 16 that has yet to post your gift, I'm extending the deadline to January 2nd due to this technical problem. So please get them in as soon as you can!

If you finish early please do NOT post your gift until December 20th.
Like last year, I will be checking in with people the week before the due date to see where you're at in fulfilling your request.

From December 20th on (preferably before the 25th) you should begin posting your gifts to DA. You should add an "SS" so that I can easily identify it in your gallery.

Once posted, you should note me with a link to your deviation. I will then pass the message along to your recipient.

Beginning on drop day, all secret Santa gifts will be featured in my journal! That's 102 this year! D:   

So last year we had a bit of an incident where someone made a rather rude remark to their Secret Santa regarding their skill as an artist. Not only was it hurtful to the artist who spent their time creating a gift for that person, but also to the event as a whole.

It made me feel just awful that someone would make such a comment to someone who obviously put forth the effort and time needed to fulfill their request.

In order to prevent such incidents this year I'd like to remind you all to be courteous and grateful to the artist who is gifting you.

As you are all aware, this was an open event, meaning I did not screen anyone out because of skill level because I feel that this event should not be about how totally amazing you are as an artist, but about giving and making someone's holiday a little brighter.

I hope that you all take the time to put your heart into your work and do your best to fulfill the wish you have been given, and that you can respect each other in having done so and maybe even make some new friends along the way.
